Required scopes
When you login to EVE Workbench using the EVE Online SSO (ESI API) you will have to grant us access to the following scopes.

On this page we will explain all scopes we need and what we use them for. If you have questions about these scopes don't hesitate and contact us on Discord!
publicData
This is the default scope which is required to gain access to identify your EVE Online account.
read_fittings
As we allow you to import your saved fitting we need access to this scope.
write_fittings
This scope is used and required to allow us to push fits to your EVE Online account.
read_character_orders
We will match your personal orders to the market and highlight it in a future update!
read_ship_type
If you want to show your active ship while streaming on Twitch we require this scope to be available.
read_skills
If you go to an fitting detail page we need your active skills so we can update the stats to your skills.
read_killmails optional

This allows us to retrieve the kills registered on your accounts. This data is used to retrieve meta data from the ESI regarding kills and used when someone wants to import your fit through zkillboard.com or other killboard websites. Might be used for future updates, we will inform you before we do this.

This is now a optional scope you can select while you login.
read_corporation_killmails optional
added on October 31st, 2021
This allows us to retrieve the kills registered on your corporations (when you have access to this data). This data is used to retrieve meta data from the ESI regarding kills and used when someone wants to import your fit through zkillboard.com or other killboard websites. Might be used for future updates, we will inform you before we do this.

read_location optional
added on August 25th, 2023
This is a optional scope that allows us to retreive your location in EVE Online.
If you grant us this option its only used for location tracking while you are creating new runs on the new Abyss Tracker.
